Today, I wanted to start a Gratitude journal because I wanted to shift the energy in my life. I heard a TED talk this morning about how gratefulness creates happiness and not the other way around. So, despite the frustrations I feel about my love life or the worries I may have about my finances, etc. it's time to focus on what is abundant and awesome in my life! I've been doing this practice of saying 5 things I'm grateful for as I'm falling asleep in bed, but I think starting my day with it will help my realign as well. So here goes:
.) Plenty of fish in the sea of eligible bachelors, kindred spirits, and soul mates who are just dying to meet me!
.) A busy social life/group of friends
.) Creative energy
.) My acting class for making me dig deeper/challenging me
.) The new towels my mom just bought for me!
